I have been blogging for the past many years and choosing the right template for your blog always remains as an important aspect. How a template does matters a lot? A well designed template gives good visual impressions about your blog. The template should be designed with users/readers in mind. Secondly the colors in the templates should be used wisely and it should blend with the whole blog. Then a very good template must be SEO friendly. It should not block the search engines to search your blog and contents. After choosing the right template say a 1-colum, 2-colum template or whatever, you can modify the template back ground and color in blogger by visiting Dashboard-> Design-> Template Designer. Choose or Design your own logo, back ground and then update it using the template designer. There are several places where you can find good base templates. Here are few free websites where I used to get the templates.

- www.ourbloggertempaltes.com – This one is my favorite because most of my blogs are designed from the templates from downloaded from here.
As CONTENT is the KING of a BLOG, TEMPLATE is the QUEEN. Choose it wisely and you will know the ways to monetize your blog automatically.
