Both blogger and wordpress has integrated domain purchase system in their platform. People who don’t know anything about IP Address, URL Forwarding, etc can use that service. Blogger gives a own domain name for $10 and it does all the DNS Record settings and only you need to change the settings in your blog. For that go to Login and go to settings in your blog, select PUBLISHING -> Custom Domain -> give your desired name (www.myblog.com) and check. Blogger has some bugs which are not fixed yet and so I do not recommend them. Wordpress also has a similar setup and they charge $15 for a domain.
Instead of going through blogger and wordpress, we ourselves can buy domain at cheaper price directly through domain registrars like GoDaddy, Enom, etc.
Just dropping by.. Good morning friend..
